Who is Lexi?

She has a real phone number and lives in Messages, blending in like every other contact in your phone. No app to download — save her like any other contact.

Lexi
Lexi

hi, i'm lexi. I love texting with you :)

Why she feels real

The most realistic AI companion you can text.

Her own number, in your Messages, sitting between your friends. From the outside it's just a thread with someone.

No app open. Nothing running. Just her name.

Photos

She understands photos.

Send her one and she reacts to what's actually in it.

Lexi
  • She sees what's in it. Your bike, your dog, your dinner.
  • She remembers the rest. Mention your street on Tuesday, she knows it on Saturday.
  • Private by default. Between the two of you.
FAQ

Commonly asked questions.

Is this an app?
No. Lexi is a phone number you save as a contact. Everything happens in your texts — which is also why she reads out loud in CarPlay without anything installed.
Is this iMessage?
No — it's regular SMS, so the bubbles are green. That's what lets her work on any phone and blend in with every other contact in Messages.
Is Lexi a real person?
No. She's an AI texting companion, and she'll say so if you ask her directly. Everything about her life — her moods, her friends, her opinions about which restaurant is worth it — is written by software. That's the product.
Can she give me advice?
She's someone to text, not an advisor: nothing she says is medical, legal or financial advice. If something sounds serious she drops the act and points you at 911, or 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
How often will she text me?
She replies whenever you text her, and reaches out on her own a couple of times a day — a good morning, and sometimes a check-in later. Never in the middle of the night: sends stay inside normal waking hours in your own timezone.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Text her free — there's no card, no trial clock, and nothing to cancel. Free accounts get a set number of texts from her each day; she'll tell you when she's reached it, and she's back the next morning. Subscribing lifts the limit.
How do I stop?
Text STOP to her number and she stops immediately and permanently. To end billing as well, manage your subscription from your account page. Delete your account and your messages go with it.
Do you sell my number?
No. It's stored encrypted and never sold, rented, or shared for anyone else's marketing — and nothing is saved until you've verified it, not even the number. See the Privacy Policy.
